ICFRE-Tropical Forest Research Institute, Jabalpur, (M.P.) is inviting online application from the interested eligible candidates for the posts of Technical Åssistant - 10 posts’ Forest Guard - 03 posts and Driver- 01 post on direct recruitment basis.
Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/Divyangjan/ Ex-servicemen candidates is as per Govt. of India orders issued from time to time. No age relaxation is a11owed to SC/ST/OBC(NCL) candidates applying against the unreserved posts. All Candidates are required to pay non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 700/- + GST and exam fees (Payable category wise) through online mode only. Women/SC/ST/Divyangjan and Ex-servicemen are exempted from the exam fee. No other mode of payment of application fee is acceptable except online payment.
Candidates declared successful for these posts will be recommended for appointment in their respective level as per 7th cpc plus a11owances as admssible under the rules/order of ICFRE.
Applicants can apply through online form available from 14/07/2025 at 00:00:01 AM, at the MPOnline portal https://www.mponline.gov.in or https://iforms.mponline.gov.in. All Notices/Amouncement will appear on Portal Link of ICFRE-TFRT.
Last date for Submission of application is l0/08/2025.
Online Applications are invited from the Indian Nationals for the following posts:
1. Technical Assistant Category II (Field/Lab.) (Level-5) 10 posts
(01 post is reserved for Ex-service-men) UR- 01 EWS-01 SC-02 ST-02 OBC- 04
Educational and other qualifications: Bachelor degree in Science with Botany/Zoology/Agriculture/ Forestry/Biotechnology/ Chemistry/Environmental Science/Statistics (as one of the subject) from a recognized University.
2. Forest Guard (Level-2) 03 posts
UR - 02 OBC- 01
Educational and other qualifications: 12th standard pass with Science from a Government recognized Board. -The appointee will be required to complete Forestry training course successfully from a recognized Forest Guard training institution during the probation period. -Physical Proficiency Test and Medical standard are given below in Exam pattern.
3. Driver (Ordinary Grade) (Level-2) 01 UR- 01
Educational and other qualifications: Essential: - (i) Matriculation from recognized board. (ii) Possession of a valid driving license for motor cars. (iii) Experience of driving a motor car for three years or more. Desirable: Knowledge of motor mechanism (the candidate should be able to remove minor defects in vehicles).
Procedure for applying:
Candidates are required to read all GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS before filling up the online application form. The Candidates are required to apply online. The relevant link for online application will be made available from 00:00:01 AM on 14/07/2025 at the MPOnline website i.e. https://www.mponline.gov.in / https://iforms.mponline.gov.in Final date for Online submission of application will be 10/08/2025 till 23:59:59 PM. No other means/mode of application shall be accepted.
Application fee:
Processing Fees (700) + GST is applicable to all candidates and only male candidate of General/OBC Category require to pay additional exam fees also as applicable and shown below
(Women, SC, ST, PwBD and Ex-servicemen candidates are exempted from paying exam fees.) * A candidate appearing for more than exams has to pay separate processing and exam fees for each category of post applied for. * MPOnline will be free to charge for other services such as application form editing, objection calling to question paper, etc. and will be borne by the candidates separately, wishing to make such changes. No exemption in fee shall be given for any category of candidates for such services. *Under no circumstances, shall the exam fee and processing fee once paid will be refunded.
Age limit:
1. Technical Assistant: 21-30 years
2. Forest Guard: 18-27 years
3. Driver (Ordinary Grade): 18-27 years
Place of posting:
The candidates selected against the posts will be posted at ICFRE-Tropical Forest Research Institute, Jabalpur or its Centre ICFRE-Skill Development Centre, Chhindwara. However, all posts carry liability to serve any of the Institutes/centers under ICFRE within India.
Selection procedure:
(i) The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of merit of written examination subject to minimum qualifying marks. The decision of the Institute on short-listing will be final and the Institute will not entertain any correspondence in this regard. Physical standard test, Trade test for the relevant posts will be qualifying and with minimum 50% marks (wherever marking). In case candidate failed to qualify the relevant test though he/she in merit of written examination will not be selected for the post.
(ii) The candidates shortlisted for skill/proficiency test/selection will have to produce original as well as self attested photocopies of their certificates related to age proof, caste, educational qualifications, Divyangjan and Ex-servicemen certificates etc, at the time of test/prior to appointment for verification. In case the certificate is in a local vernacular language, (except Hindi) its English translation duly attested by a Notary/Gazetted Officer should also be produced. All eligibility certificates must be issued by the competent authorities before the closing date of application.
